Well today... guess whattt? You should have known when you read that title. Yuppp! I am going to review about this thrilling serial novel,

THE SCORCH TRIALS

So yeah.. this is the second book of the Maze Runner series.

And... ok..what should I say?

The story continued after the Gladers escaped from the Maze. Then, they were rescued by a group of people and were brought to a nice place somewhere in the city. But the next day, the rescuers were all death, their body hanging from the ceiling. What was more perplexing was Teresa, who slept in other dormitory, had gone and replaced by a blonde boy, Aris. Soon after that, they got to know that there was another test for them to pass and that was the Scorch trial. In that trial, they need to walk across a really really hot desert under the scorching sun, heading to north, where they were told to find the Safe Haven, a "place" where they should find the cure. What cure? Well.. basically, a disease called the "Flare" had spread around the countries and could turn people into Cranks, meant crazy people. And undeniably, the Gladers also caught that disease and had to find the cure within the time given. 2 weeks. So, will they succeed in the next trial? As usual, find it yourself! HAHAHAHAHA!👅

Well well.. I dont mean to write synopsis or story-line here. The writing above is a bit shuck. So lets proceed down here.

In this book, some new characters came up like Jorge, Brenda, Aris, the Rat Man, Harriet, Sonya and others that were not so important. So lets discuss bout these characters.

First, Aris. He was a boy with a blonde hair who actually came from Group B. Well..the Maze test was actually divided into two groups; Group A which had all guys and one girl and Group B which had all girls and one guy. Aris was the only guy from Group and yet, he was exchanged with Teresa, the only girl from Group A. Is that clear? Hahahha... So when Thomas and his friends found this boy in Teresa's room, they were perplexed but soon trusted him that it was all the WICKED plan. But for me, I dont really trust him since he appeared. I dont like him truthfully. He was a little bit like that shuck girl, Teresa. And yeahhhhhhh..(SPOILER ALERTT) he was a traitor, ganged up with the damn betrayer, who-else-but-Teresa.😑 I knew it.

Next, Jorge who was a Crank but not Gone yet, whom they met at the desert. Well .. nothing much that I could say bout him but he helped the Gladers to found their way to the north and avoided the Cranks. He was accompanied by Brenda, a Crank girl. And yupp..she was much better than Teresa and I like her.😁

Brenda .. Brenda... hmmm. She was quite quick and strong and she led Thomas through the town when they accidentally parted with their other friends. She was touchy-feely with Thomas and liked to hug him or held his hands. Thomas unexpectedly liked the way she was with him but still picturing Teresa in his mind. Blergghh.😑 And I think Brenda was into Thomas but she was once rejected because of Teresa. Urghh.. but they continued to be friends anyway as Thom promised to bring her to the cure. What I love the most was the scene when Brenda and Teresa first met ... like ahhh..it was full of hatred between them.  And I just like Brenda coz I think Thomas is better with her than being with the betrayer. Ahh..I actually imagined Cara Delevingne as Brenda cause she suited the character nicely.

Alright..the other characters like Ratman, well he was a guy sent by WICKED to tell the Gladers bout the trials and rules. Harriet and Sonya were the girls from Group B who eventually united with Group A at the Safe Haven.

So so.. besides the new characters, the main characters like Thomas, Minho, Newt and Teresa also developed. Teresa became a betrayer and what she did in this sequel were such horrible and annoying. Arghhhh! I felt like wanted to kill her ASAP. I hate her of course. Hahahhaha. Thomas on the other hand, got his memory back little by little and her love to Teresa slowly turned into hatred. Ohyeahhhh...thats what I like!😄

Minho became the leader replacing Alby because it was tatooed on his shoulder bladr that he was the leader. Well..he was a great leader and yessss, he hated Teresa as much as I hated her. High five, Minho! As for Newt, he did not have much dialogues in this book and his character did not appear so much. Hmm..it's kind of frustrating.

Ahh.. I actually realised that I imagined Ryan Higa as Minho, not Ki Hong. Hahaha..because I prefer Ryan as Minho. He's cool!

Okayhh..

I think this is the end. I dont know what I wrote until this much. Must be a crap of nonsense. 

So what I have to do next? Can I read The Kill Order before I read the Death Cure? I'm afraid it might affect the story-line and gives spoiler. Huhu.. so I think I may stop a while and focus on drawing and learning English. Hoho..

Alright.. that's all! Last but not least, this book deserves 4.5 stars. Hahahha..because I still dont satisfy with the annoying girl's character.🙄 Above all, you rock, Mr. James! 💥💥💥
