"FAULT & FATE"




  "Urgghh.... urggghhh.."
  "Joshua? Joshua!! What happened to you??"
  " Urgghhh..."
  "Erwin!! Erwin!! Hurry up!! Joshua was hurt and he's bleeding a lot! Oh dear.."

  "Joshua?"
  "Mom.." I open my eyes. It's so bright. I look around, it's all white.Yes, this is hospital.
  "Joshua, are you alright? We're so worried about you. What had happened? Where had you been?" Mom asks many questions. Dad is sitting beside her, looking worried at me.
  "I.. I'm okay. This is 2025, right?" I ask weakly. I have no energy now after the incident.
  "Yes, my dear.. what happened to  you?"
  "No.. nothing." I try to sit up straightly on the bed. My head is bandaged. It was such a hard hit that I had. I look around the room. Where is she?
  "Mom, Dad.. where's Marya?
  "Marya?" They show a curious face.
  "Yes,Marya... my sister." Dad and Mom are looking at each other.
  "Are you alright, Joshua? Is your head was hit badly? You are losing your mind.."
  "No, I'm not losing my mind!" I hardly defend myself. "Where is Marya? I know she's alive right now! Where is she??" I urge them cause I really want to see her now.
  "Don't you remember? Your sister had die.. three months ago.."
  "What?" I'm shocked. Died? No, I saved her from the accident. I had saved her life. She's still alive now. I know!
  "No, Mom.. Marya is still alive now.."
  "No, Joshua." Dad objects." She had committed a suicide the day after your birthday. She took pills.."
  "What? My birthday?" I confused.
  "Yes, your birthday.. three months ago." No way!! That day was the day I began to build my Time Machine. That's when I realized that I should prevent Marya's death.
  Actually Marya had died when I was 5. At the moment, she ran from house because of her disagreement with Mom and Dad. In the heavy rain and thunderstorm, she fell onto the road and was hit by a trailer. I know I should go to the past and advise her to stay with me, Mom and Dad.. And it was successful, right?
   Drastically, my head gets hurt. It feels like my mind is going to burst out. And all of my memories are changing, one by one. Until I see.. the moment I celebrated my 17th birthday, when I blow the candles. At that juncture, Marya broke a glass. She looked shock. I didn't know why.The next morning, we found her..lying on the bed, breathless. With pills messed beside her.
  I hold my head. It stuck. I cannot accept this memories. I don't want to!
  "Arrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!!" I scream loudly, stressed with the mess.
  "Doctor! Doctor!" Mom calls the doctor, panicked with my act. The doctor comes and injects me. I lost my consciousness.

Sebabnya uia gambang tu baru sahaja siap dibina tahun lepas dan memang dikhaskan utk pelajar asasi uia. Gambang tu kat mana akak? Kat Pahang, sayang. Kelebihan Asasi UIA (CFS IIUM)
